By the grace of Almighty I am a true muslim and I dont believe in the traditional muslims' views based upon fake sources that have rumors about the collection of Quran. Quran is the last message from God Almighty to the whole humanity and God himself has taken the responsibility of its protection, hence nothing to worry about it. Quran was not compiled in later ages as the traditional ordinary sources say rather Quran was compiled in the reign of the last Holy Prophet of God Muhammad ﷺ He had saved it and kept the standard copy with his wife Hafsaرضی اللّٰہ تعالٰی عنھا
Uthmam رضی اللّٰہ تعالٰی عنہ had only made its copies and circulated it. We are dead sure that this is the same Quran that was revealed upon Muhammad ﷺ because God has taken the responsibility of its protection.
By the way my dear non muslim brothers instead of criticising or investigating your own religions why you people are so much curious about Islam and Muslim World ? What makes you that much crazy ? Are you afraid of what Bernard Shaw had said that the religion of the future would only be the Islam ? We are sufficent to do research in our own religion but why you people are going so crazy about it forgetting your own deficient areas.
I have put sufficient mattet in my post to satisfy you. Even then If you may not get convinced then I cant do anymore to treat crazy people. My brothers would you please study this especially open the sublinks of this article:

According to Encyclopedia britannica Petra was destroyed by an earthquake in 551 AD. Muhammad ﷺ was born in 571 AD ie 20 years later.When no one was living in the ruins of PETRA how is it possible that it was Macca & Quraish were living there. Arab Muslims arrived their 100 years after its destruction.
In spite of all the historical and archeological proof that after this last earthquake no one was living in Petra . It was perished completely, as Britannica says, that there was no population at all.as follows:

It was perished completely as Bratinnica says and there was no population at all. Why are
you people going that much mad and stupid that you are going to distort the facts of history and just playing the dirty games of fairy tales.Muslims with their sound foundations are not going to accept these devised stories which christians are fond of creating even for Jesus that he had been crucified and resurrected 3 days after his death. Keep on devising such fairy tales.
We Muslims have a continous track record that can never be distorted by superstitions of so called archeological research. There is no place of fake traditions in our religious code eg ibn e ishaq or ibn e hashaam. Quran is the only authentic source of that era.

We challenge the notion of comparing modern readings of Qiblah directions to early mosques’ Qiblahs as early Muslims could not accurately calculate the direction of the Qiblah to Mecca and so the apparent pinpointing of Petra by some early mosques may well be coincidental.
In addition Quran says that piety is not to turn face towards the direction of east or west in prayes but the piety is having solid and good character ie charity, abiding by promises etc.
Righteousness is not that you turn your faces toward the east or the west, but [true] righteousness is [in] one who believes in Allah, the Last Day, the angels, the Book, and the prophets and gives wealth, in spite of love for it, to relatives, orphans, the needy, the traveler, those who ask [for help], and for freeing slaves; [and who] establishes prayer and gives zakah; [those who] fulfill their promise when they promise; and [those who] are patient in poverty and hardship and during battle. Those are the ones who have been true, and it is those who are the righteous
(Chapter: Al-baqara; verse 177)
Hence, early muslims may not be accurately careful in determining the directions exactly towards kabba as their jurists had given the verdict unanimously that upt maximum 45 degree deviation from kaaba is acceptable while offering prayers if not doing deliberately or intentionally. They had no accurate instrument for such calculations at that time.
