The meaning of Pakistan
The meaning of Pakistan

They often ask me that why I am dam serious regarding Quaid e Azam, while the majority is neither sensitive for him, nor for Pakistan especially while abusing and making ridicule saying: "after all this is Pakistan". Thank God, I am not one of them because no one among them enjoys the honour of being brought up by the hands that had once touched the hands of the greatest muslim of centries ie Jinnah. My father had the honour of not only shaking hands with Quaid e Azam, but also working hand in hand with the close companions of Quaid e Azam in Pakistan movement. He had taught me that they had never thought while struggling for Pakistan that Pakistan would be an orthodox theocratic state. He said that they had been used to raise the voice of the slogan:پاکستان کا مطلب کیا ؟ لا الہ الا اللہ
while being in various processions with extreme enthusiasm keeping in mind that the Pakistan would be such an independent territory where there would be no ruling power except one God and that would be only through his Holy book ie Quran would be the only constitution and supreme law of the land and no human being would have any right to enslave or suppress the other human being.
There was not even a single person belonging to orthodox religious clergy
among the early pioneers of Pakistan movement as depicted by the following group photo of the leaders of the Pakistan National Movement including the founder Ch.Rahmat Ali with Allama Iqbal at round about 1932 CE :
My mother had also the honour of having seen Quaid e Azam and not only taking part in Pakistan movement actively with her paternal and maternal families but she also enjoys the honour of rendering her services as a volunteer body guard of the sister of Quaid e Azam ie Fatima Jinnah.
Because of the teachings of my elders, I have become much sensitive about the issues regarding the ideology of Pakistan.
I know that the Pakistan movement had not only a political theme but also had an Islamic ideological approach. That approach seems to be a protest against the traditional orthodox outlook as presented by the religious clergy of all sects among muslims. Therefore, almost all the so called ulema ie religious scholars of all sects opposed Quaid e Azam and Pakistan movement except for those few who joined the movement at eleventh hour on observing the popularity of the movement among ordinary muslims.
Almost all the three main leading figures of this struggle from the very begining till the end ie Sir Syed Ahmad Khan, Allama Iqbal and Quaid e Azam were declared Infidels by the religious leaders of all sects due to their enlightened approach towards religion.
Muslim League was launched by the companions of Sir Syed as a continuation of Muhammadan educational conference founded by Sir Syed, who had once said against the accusitions of infidelity that he would not accept and would destroy all the false gods, false books and false prophets of the muslim community same as his forefather Abraham destroyed the gods.
Allama Iqbal had also addressed in Allahabad while giving the idea of Pakistan that the only main purpose of establishing such an homeland of muslims is to get rid of the stamp of Arabian imperialism that was imposed for centries over the laws and culture and to mobilise it in accordance with the spirit of both of the modern times and the original teachings of the Holy Quran eg he does not accept that any messiah or mehdi would come. Rather he strongly opposes that view.
The words of Quaid e Azam would ever remain echoing my mind that there would be no place for theocracy in Pakistan. Islamic government means the goverment of Quranic principles and orders but it does not mean theocracy at all.
The liars ever in power try to save their bloody faces behind the curtains of the big names of Sir Syed, Iqbal and Quaid merely to save their faces and skin. They do not really want to make Pakistan in accodance to the guidelines laid down by the founders of Pakistan eg
Allama Iqbal and Quaid e Azam both strongly opposed the capitalism and land ownership. Quid e Azam had clearly said that foundations of Pakistan must be built on the foundations of Islamic Socialism and equality. He had declared that there would be no place for capitalists and landlords in Pakistan. He declared that he would not have Pakistan if the western economic system and capitalism continued to flourish in Pakistan.
What to say about all that while Quran clearly says that those who do not take their decisions in accordance to the Holy Book of God, they all are infidels. Keeping that in view what do you think about all those living in Pakistan who had demanded a separate homeland just to implement Quranic principles and orders in their classic spirit, according to which all things belong to Allah , form goverment to land and property.
Shame for the liars who do not hesitate to make a fool of the common people by deceiving then by just uttering the names of Quran, Sunnah, Sir Syed, Quaid e Azam and Iqbal but never implementing their teachings in Pakistan.
Quaid e Azam had advised us to forgive the opponents of Pakistan (eg religious clergy, capitalsts, feudals, Jamaat e Islami etc) but beware of them by keeping an eye over them.
This essay is also an humble attempt in compliance to my leader's orders.
